Welcome to readyphonics.com (the “Site”), operated by ReadyPhonics (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using this Site, downloading our free resources, leaving a blog comment, signing up for our email list, or applying to the Educator Pilot Program, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. Who Can Use This Site
This Site is intended for use by parents, teachers, school staff, and other adults on behalf of children in their care. It is not directed at children, and we ask that anyone under 18 only use the Site with the involvement of a parent, teacher, or guardian.
2. Purchases
Individual purchases: ReadyPhonics workbooks are sold through Amazon.com. Clicking “Shop on Amazon” or similar links takes you to Amazon, where your purchase is governed entirely by Amazon’s own terms of sale, return policy, and shipping terms. We are not responsible for Amazon’s pricing, fulfillment, order handling, or customer service.
Bulk and custom orders: Teachers and schools may arrange bulk or custom workbook orders directly with ReadyPhonics by contacting our team. Payment for bulk and custom orders is collected by QuickBooks invoice, PayPal for Business, or check, and is due upon receipt of invoice unless other terms are agreed to in writing in advance. All sales are final unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of order.
3. Print Quality & Replacement Policy
Workbooks are printed on demand through Amazon, and occasional printing or manufacturing defects (for example, upside-down pages, missing or cut-off text, or damaged covers) can happen.
For printing or manufacturing defects, the fastest option is to request a replacement or refund directly through Amazon:
- Go to your Amazon Orders page.
- Select “Return or replace items” next to the workbook.
- Choose a reason such as “Damaged” or “Defective” to receive a refund or replacement copy.
Amazon’s return/replacement process covers physical printing and manufacturing errors, but it does not cover complaints about the written content itself (for example, disagreeing with how a lesson is written). If you run into a printing defect and Amazon’s process doesn’t resolve it, or if you have any other concern about your workbook, contact us at team@readyphonics.com with photos of the affected pages, and we’ll be happy to help make it right.
4. Free Resources & Free Lessons
- The first five lessons of each workbook, and the resources posted on our Free Resources page, are provided free of charge in exchange for an email signup.
- These materials are for personal, classroom, or household use only. You may print copies for your own students, children, or classroom use. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or share these files as your own product, post them for public download elsewhere, or use them for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
- We may add, remove, or change free resources at any time without notice.
5. Digital Companion Content
The digital companion content accessed via QR code in each workbook is provided as a free supplement to workbook purchasers. No account or login is required. This content is provided “as is,” and we may modify, discontinue, or replace the underlying platform (currently Genially) at any time.
6. Educator Pilot Program
The Educator Pilot Program is offered to qualified educators, subject to the following terms (see also the Educator Pilot Program page for current offer details, which may change):
- The program is limited to one qualifying educator per applicant and one classroom per educator.
- Educator verification is required before enrollment, currently in the form of a school-issued staff identification card; we reserve the right to approve or deny any application at our discretion.
- The program provides a free 6-month print license to use all three ReadyPhonics workbooks in the enrolled classroom.
- After the initial 6-month period, continued access is $100 for the remainder of the first year, and $200/year/classroom thereafter. You may cancel at any time before renewal to avoid these charges.
- The Educator Pilot Program does not involve the collection of any student names or other student education records; see our Privacy Policy for details.
- We may change program terms, pricing, or availability at any time; current participants will be notified of material changes affecting their enrollment.
- Additional terms and conditions may apply and will be provided at the time of enrollment.
7. Blog Comments & User Content
If we enable comments on our blog, the following applies:
- You’re responsible for anything you post. Comments must not be unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, spammy, or infringe on anyone else’s rights.
- We may moderate, edit, or remove any comment at our discretion, for any reason, without notice.
- By posting a comment, you grant ReadyPhonics a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that comment on the Site in connection with the post it was left on.

8. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, workbook previews, images, logos, and the ReadyPhonics name and branding, is owned by ReadyPhonics or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. Except for the limited free-resource use described in Section 4, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Testimonials posted on this Site reflect the individual experiences of the people quoted and are not a guarantee of results for any other user.
10. Educational Claims Disclaimer
ReadyPhonics is designed using research-informed, Science of Reading-aligned methods. However, individual results vary based on the child’s age, prior knowledge, and consistency of practice, and we make no guarantee of specific learning outcomes, grade-level performance, or timeframes for any individual child.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
This Site and all content, free resources, and digital companion tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReadyPhonics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, our free resources, our digital companion content, or the Educator Pilot Program. To the extent any liability applies despite the above, ReadyPhonics’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site or the Educator Pilot Program will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid directly to ReadyPhonics (not Amazon) in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Third-Party Links & Embedded Content
This Site links to third-party sites, including Amazon and various educational research sources (NAEP, Common Core, Head Start ELOF, etc.), and blog posts may include embedded content from other websites (for example, videos). We don’t control and aren’t responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party sites or embedded content, which may collect their own data about your interaction with it. 14. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information through this Site is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
Washington State law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
